Train4TradeSkills News: The Bodybuilding Electrician
Electrician swaps wiring for weights to bodybuild for England.
An electrician is attempting to embark on a career in bodybuilding and win the British Bodybuilding championships next month.
Joshua Vito Nieli, 22, works as a sparky in Hitchin, but took up bodybuilding a year ago and has already won a regional competition – the Kent Classic – and hopes to follow it up with a medal at the UK championships.
Joshua told Comet 24, “It’s very punishing and difficult, but I really enjoy it. I still work as an electrician, but the dream is to do this professionally.
“I do five days training then two days off. It’s been a hardworking and dedicated year. I have a programme, and we concentrate on different muscles groups at a time, and make sure that I’m in proportion.”
Bodybuilding has been thrust into the news this week after glamour model Jodie Marsh shocked the country (or at least the people who saw the photos) and debuted her new muscles in a bodybuilding competition, despite only been training for 8 weeks.

Well, that would be a great leeway for an electrician. An x-factor for a good career ahead.
