Triton launches new shower iPhone App

Britain’s leading shower manufacturer Triton has entered the competitive world of iPhone apps with its TI:ME app that tries to make it easier for people who want to install a new shower in their home.

When you are doing DIY, it’s not exactly practical to be constantly next to a computer while you are doing it. That’s why this new app aims to provide the tools and the technical knowledge to get on with each job quickly, so you have TI:ME to get on with the other things in your life.

The Triton TI:ME app gives users access to product information, top tips from Triton experts and allows you to ask questions to the experts to help you with your problems when installing a shower.

As well as helping and offering advice, the app includes a Water Warriors game which is aimed to be a fun game on the iPhone and advertise the importance of saving water. Triton’s Managing Director Lorna Fellowes, says:

“With installers always on the go, information needs to be accessible at all times. We pride ourselves as being a leading innovator in the shower industry and go a long way to make sure we develop quality products that are quick and easy to install. The addition of the Triton TI:ME iPhone application adds to our website, YouTube, Twitter and Facebook options, to give customers a choice of how find out more from Triton depending on where they are and the time they have available.”

With the popularity of smartphones and the various applications at an all-time high, Triton’s app should prove to be extremely useful. It is free to download from iTunes, and I like the fact that it combines knowledge and support with the fun element of the Water Warriors. With online games like Farmville and Mafia Wars proving popular with millions of people, there is definitely a market for an iPhone app for the DIY and plumbing industries.
