Stephen talks latest Train4TradeSkills TMA and plumbing apprenticeships in latest blog

Stephen Marlor is training to become a plumber with Train4TradeSkills and every week blogs about how he is finding his course. In his last blog, Stephen was talking about the “Yes for Wales” vote and the odd jobs he was doing around his plumbing course.

Here’s Stephen’s latest blog:

“I submitted TMA 21 on 28th Feb and I scored 78%! Everything else is fine and I’m starting to do TMA 22 next week.

I have applied for a job to do with a plumbing apprenticeship in Prestatyn and they will get back to me on Friday, so fingers crossed.

I have been out leafleting all day with the “Yes Vote” today and we are looking for a win on the referendum tomorrow (the campaign worked, as the Welsh population voted for more powers for the Welsh Assembly last week – ed), so everything is looking good here in Wales.

I will update you all next week.”

  1. Nowadays folks are ignoring the day to day plumbing concerns as they feel that nothing will go wrong if they postpone their servicing of their hot h2o techniques or heating systems. But afterwards they will realise that simple day to day difficulties had developed in to full blown up plumbing emergencies.

  2. With university fees soaring a solid apprenticeships in plumbing seems a lot more attractive to young people than a degree with guaranteed debt.
