Train4TradeSkills News: New statistics find Construction Industry enjoys positive July
The latest edition of the Markit/CIPS UK Construction PMI Index reports figures of 53.5 for July, which is slightly down from June’s 53.6, but it is still positive as anything over 50 constitutes a growth.
July is the seventh month in a row that the construction industry activity has increased and the figures surprised experts, as they had predicted a dip in construction activity in July.
These statistics come a week after official statistics showed that the construction sector had grown by 0.5% and fared better than numerous other sectors.
